Bike bomb dismantled in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Policemen dismantled a bike bomb east of the city of al-Nassiriya on Sunday, the Thi-Qar police chief said. “The explosive bike was defused in al-Hammar district, (80 km) east of al-Nassiriya, thank to intelligence tips,” Col. Sadeq al-Mashrafawi told IraqiNews.com. “The bike was rigged with TNT, nails and other material to augment the damage resulting from an explosion,” he said, not giving more details.
