Maliki prepares to put end for confrontation with rivals, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Spokesman of the White bloc, MP Kadhum al-Shimmari, confirmed “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is getting ready to put an end for the confrontation with his opponents.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Maliki became sure that MPs of the State of Law Coalition and some of the members of the Iraqi National Alliance support him so he began to make sure of the stances of some MPs from other blocs to ensure their support for him.”

“Now, Maliki became closer to the settlement of the confrontation with his rivals,” he added.

“Maliki’s efforts in this respect started after the SLC meeting which was held last week,” he concluded.
