Talabani: National interests require adopting dialogue to settle disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, confirmed “The national interests require adopting the dialogue to settle the disputes according to the constitution.”

In his speech during the ceremony which is held in Hakim’s office on the occasion of the Iraqi Martyr Day, which coincided with the anniversary of the Mohamed Baqir al-Hakim and Abdul Aziz al-Hakim’s martyrdom, on Saturday, he stated “Both Mohamed Baqir al-Hakim, Shaheed al-Mihrab and Abdul Aziz al-Hakim, Aziz al-Iraq, were great in their sacrifices and their confrontation for the tyranny.”

“We miss them in the current stage to settle the disputes and to speed up holding the dialogue to avoid tension,” he added.

“Both were adherent to solving all the disputes which hinder the political process to save the country and to consolidate the democracy and freedom,” he assured.

“The dialogue should be held soon to enhance the national accord,” he concluded.
