Hakim, Chalabi discuss consolidating role of INA
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the head of the Iraqi National Congress, Ahmed al-Chalabi, discussed the necessity of consolidating the role of the Iraqi National Alliance.
A statement by Chalabi’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Chalabi visited Hakim on last Monday and congratulated him for being re-elected as the head of the SIIC.”
“Chalabi and Hakim reviewed the latest political updates as they agreed upon the necessity of settling the current crisis constitutionally through the dialogue to accomplish the genuine national partnership,” the statement concluded.
