Urgent – Nijaifi: Request submitted to INA to substitute Maliki within week

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliament Speaker announced “Submitting a request to the Iraqi National Alliance to nominate a substitute to the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, within a week.”

He assured in press statements broadcast by Musoliya Satellite Channel “Najaf meeting resulted in signing a letter sent to INA to nominate a substitute to the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, within a week in addition to other issues that will be announced later.”

“We are convinced that we are no longer able to deal with Maliki’s policy of monopolization which deviated the democratic practices in the State,” he added.

“It is time to start a new phase by correcting the direction of the political process and to find the suitable person to rule the country in this difficult period,” he concluded.

A crucial political meeting was held in Najaf province on last Saturday, some political leaders attended the meeting while some others did not.
