White bloc calls sides of 5+1 meeting to urge Kuwait to relieve Iraq from 7th Chapter

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc called the permanent members of the International Security Council that will gather in the (5+1) conference in Baghdad, to urge Kuwait to release Iraq from the Seventh Chapter of the United Nation’s Charter.

“Keeping Iraq under the Seventh Chapter will affect it, especially that Iraq pays compensations to Kuwait for the actions that were done by the previous regime and not by the Iraqi people,” he added, assuring the necessity of “Respecting the people’s will and not to make them suffer for the doings of the former regimes.”

“The formed committee between Iraq and Kuwait is considered as a good omen to release Iraq from the Seventh Chapter, but we request these countries to hold a marginal meeting to urge Kuwait about this issue.”

The (5+1) meeting will be held in Baghdad, in presence of USA, Russia, China, France, Britain, that are the permanent members of the ISC in addition to Germany, on Wednesday over Iran nuclear program.
