FM meets US, British Ambassadors to prepare for 1+5 meeting over Iran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, met the US Ambassador, James Jeffrey, and the British Ambassador, Michael Aron, separately to discuss the preparations for 1+5 meeting over the Iranian nuclear file.

A statement by the Ministry received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Zebari met Jeffrey and Aron separately in Baghdad on Sunday.”

“The meetings tackled bilateral relations,” the statement added, noting that “Zebari briefed the preparations for 1+5 meeting.”

“He also talked about the updates concerning the Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations in addition to the regional situation,” the statement concluded.
