Security report about drugs in Sulaimaniya

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The Sulaimaniya security department on Tuesday issued a report about quantities of narcotics that were seized during the past 10 months, in addition to number of prisoners accused of drug trafficking. “Since January 2008 until this report was issued, 275 kg of narcotics were seized and destroyed,” read the report that was received by IraqiNews.com. “Fifty-three people were imprisoned for drug trafficking during that period for different terms of three to ten years, up to life in prison,” it added .
