Bazoni: SLC’s not responding to Sader Trend behind postponing INA’s meeting
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The independent MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, of the Iraqi National Alliance stated the meeting of the INA was postponing because the State of Law Coalition did not clearly respond to the Sadr Trend over Erbil letter.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) , he stated “The meeting was postponed till further notice due to the non adherence of SLC to the limited time to respond to letter of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr.”
The political committee of the INA was supposed to hold its meeting on Wednesday to discuss the letter submitted by the participants of Erbil meeting.
Earlier, a statement by the political committee of the INA cited “The meeting was held in the house of the head of the INA, Ibrahim al-Jaafery and in presence of all the representatives of the political blocs within the INA.”
“The meeting discussed the latest political updates and the items of the letter of Erbil meeting in order to reach a unified attitude towards it.” The statement concluded.
The head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, has participated in a meeting which was held in Erbil involving the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the as well as the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to discuss the political crisis.
The participants in the meeting sent a letter, including nine items, to the Iraqi National Alliance requesting Maliki to apply them within fifteen days otherwise they will withdraw confidence from him.
