SLC to nominate Maliki as substitute for Maliki himself, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul al-Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The SLC will nominate the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, as substitute for Maliki himself.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Some political sides do not like the strong government and the stable situation,” noting that “We will not replace Maliki at this time because he presented great services to the country.”

“The SLC has the right to know the reasons behind the request to change Maliki,” he added.

“The SLC considers the Iraqis’ interests rather than satisfying this or that side,” he assured

“If the political sides have some demands, they have to resort to constitution and dialogues to achieve their demands,” he concluded.
