BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A civilian was killed and nine others wounded when an improvised explosive device went off in central Baghdad on Tuesday, police said. “A roadside IED planted on the main road near the former headquarters of the German embassy in al-Karada area, central Baghdad, went off today, killing a civilian person, wounding nine others and damaging two civilian vehicles,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Security forces sealed off the explosion scene while ambulances rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital,” the source added.
