2 blasts rock Baghdad; 4 casualties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Four civilians were killed or wounded on Tuesday in two explosions that ripped through downtown Baghdad, according to a police source. “A roadside improvised explosive device (IED) detonated behind the building of the University for Technology in downtown Baghdad, killing a civilian and wounding two others,” the source told IraqiNews.com. The explosion caused damage to several vehicles, the source noted. Meanwhile, “an explosive charge went off near the National Theatre in downtown Baghdad’s area of al-Karada, wounding a civilian,” according to the same source.
