Jouburi urges to activate MPs’ supervisory role over governmental institutions

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP. Ahmed al-Jouburi, of the Patriots bloc assured that “Any member of parliament has the right to observe and supervise the performance of governmental institutions”.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “MPs’ supervisory role gives them the right to supervise any governmental institution according to the terms and conditions of that role.”

“The statistics that we have got assured that the Health Ministry is the least among the other ministries in the corruption level and this is evidence about the successful supervising role of the Ministry,” he concluded.
