Talabani, SLC delegation discuss means of relieving current crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani discussed with a delegation from the State of Law Coalition, headed by Premier Nouri al-Maliki, means of settling the current political crises.

Presidential statement cited on Monday that “Talabani received a delegation from the SLC, headed by Sheikh Khalid al-Atiyya, and discussed with them the latest developments on the political arena in Iraq and the means necessary to settle the current political crises through constructive dialogue and according to Constitution in order to reach a comprehensive national settlement.”

“Both sides welcomed the available initiatives which resulted from current meetings to push the current situation towards a compromise for all sides,” the statement concluded.
