Talabani, delegation of Ahrar bloc discuss efforts to eliminate crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, discussed the political updates and the efforts exerted to eliminate the current political crisis with a delegation from Ahrar bloc.

A Presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “Talabani received a delegation from Ahrar bloc in Baghdad on Sunday,” noting that “The delegation involved the head of the bloc, Baha al-Araji, and MP, Jawad al-Shihili.”

“Both sides stressed the importance of overcoming the disputes by resorting to the constitution and concluded agreements to go on to a new stage of building the State on the basis of the partnership,” the statement concluded.

Recently, The political scene witnesses political movement to settle the disputes started by a meeting held in Erbil involving the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, as well as the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to discuss the political crisis.
