Hakim calls political sides to avoid setting conditions for joining national meeting
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, expressed his hope to overcome the current political crisis during the public celebration of the birthday of Holy Lady, al-Zahra, and the Iraqi Woman Day which was held at Hakim’s office in Baghdad on Saturday.
He called in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “All sides to adhere to the general rules and logical norms without setting conditions over their joining the national meeting which is devoted to settle the political disputes.”
“He explained that among the most important norms that we should adhere is the constitution and the national partnership which means manipulating the country by all sides,” the statement added.
“He also expressed his trust that the political figures will settle the disputes through the dialogue of the brave people to eliminate the doubts and to protect the country,” the statement concluded.
