Talabani, Khuzayi discuss solving crisis through dialogue

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, and the Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, discussed the political developments.

A Presidential Statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “Talabani received Khuzayi and they discussed settling the current political crisis through the calm dialogues.”

“They stressed resorting to constitution and the national norms in all aspects,” the statement added, noting that “Their views were identical concerning the issues discussed during the meeting.”

It is worth mentioning that since his arrival in Baghdad on last Thursday, Talabani met the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, the US Ambassador, James Jeffrey, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to discuss holding the upcoming national meeting which he called since the end of 2011.
