Dabbagh announces details of CoMs’ meeting in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Spokesperson of the government, Ali al-Dabbagh announced that the Council of Ministers has decided several decisions in its meeting last Tuesday in Kirkuk province.

He stated that the CoM agreed upon forming a committee headed by the Finance Minister and comprises representatives of Agricultural, Provinces Affairs, and Ministry of municipalities in addition to Kirkuk Governor and some other officials in order to follow up the results of cancelling the North Committee and to submit suggestions over land distribution regarding this cancelation.

He pointed out that the CoM accepted the proposal submitted by the Iranian ICG company to perform a sewage project in Kirkuk.

He mentioned that another decision was done by the CoM that is related to forming a committee headed by the Interior Ministry and comprising the representatives of the Interior and Defense Ministries as members in order to set fair procedures to the job opportunities in these two ministries based on the efficiency regardless the sect or nationality.

He concluded that the CoM decided to lend the Residency Fund with an amount of IQD 150 Billion to be submitted by the Finance Ministry without any interests in order to support the budget of Kirkuk province.
