Sadr accepted by all sides as mediator to settle disputes, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Midhir al-Janabi, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that “The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, is accepted by all political sides as a mediator to settle the disputes to end the current crisis.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Sadr is an effective partner who play an active role to save the political process due to his political, religious and social status.”

“He will succeed in pressurizing the State of Law Coalition to change its stances,” he added.

“Iraq’s interests require reaching agreement to settle the crisis without foreign interferences as soon as possible,” he stressed, noting that “The crisis reached complicated level.”
