Bazoni describes holding COMs’ meetings in province as “Incorporeal”
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, of the State of Law Coalition described holding the meetings of the Council of Ministers as “incorporeal rather than practical.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday, he said “The meeting of the COM that was held in Basra province on the 13th of February did not solve any issue,” noting that “It has some good points such as the recognition of the ministers for the situation in Basra province.”
“The committee that was formed to follow up the issues of Basra province did not hold any meeting yet,” he added, pointing out “The meeting of the COM did not differ from others that were held in Baghdad.”
It is worth mentioning that the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has arrived to Kirkuk province on Tuesday and held the meeting of the COM there to discuss its issues and the means to settle them.
