Iraqi Communist Party to hold its 9th Conference Tuesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Communist Party will hold its ninth conference at Ishtar-Sheraton Hotel in Baghdad on Tuesday.

A statement by the ICP received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “It is expected that many officials, MPs, political leaders and prominent figures will attend the conference.”

“The conference will involve a speech for the Secretary General of the ICP, Hameed Majeed Musa, in addition to other speeches by governmental and political figures,” the statement added.

“The party announced several slogans to be adopted in its conference like (Together to establish the Democratic, Federal and Civil State instead of the regime of confessionalism) and (Terrorism and Corruption, two faces of one coin),” the statement concluded.
