Hakim, Shawees discuss political updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawees, discussed the political updates and the current political efforts to eliminate the current crisis.

A statement by Hakim’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hakim received Shawees at his office in Baghdad and they stressed the importance of adopting the dialogue to settle the disputes.”

“They confirmed the necessity of adhering to the agreements that do not violate the constitution to end the crisis,” the statement concluded.

Recently, The political scene witnesses political movement to settle the disputes started by a meeting held in Erbil involving the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, as well as the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to discuss the political crisis.
