Diwaniya consumes its 2008 budget

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The civil authority in Diwaniya spent all the 2008 budget pertained to projects in the province, and no funds will be returned to the national treasury this year, according to Diwaniya deputy governor for engineering affairs. “The budget that was 257 billion Iraqi dinners has been spent by 100 percent,” Hazim Omran told IraqiNews.com. “64 percent of the projects have been finalized, and the rest are still under execution,” he said.
