Mulla announces IS demands required for upcoming national meeting
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Spokesman of the Iraqiya Slate, Haider al-Mulla, announced that “The Iraqiya Slate thinks that some demands are required for holding the upcoming national meeting.”
A statement by Mulla received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “The IS demands the head of the State of Law Coalition to implement the articles of Erbil Agreement, stopping the random arrest operations, avoiding interference in the performance of the judicial authority, ending the unconstitutional procedures against the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, and eliminating the political dimension of the case of the Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi.”
“Among the demands for holding the meeting is the presence of the leaders of Iraq especially, Ammar al-Hakim, and Muqtada al-Sadr, as well as, Masoud Barzani, in addition to other prominent figures,” he added.
“Without accomplishing these demands the meeting will be superficial,” he concluded.
