Kurdish MP: SLC adopts authority monopolization policy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shwan Mohamed Taha, called to avoid responding to the statements launched by the MPs of the State of Law Coalition, Yasin Majeed, and Hussein al-Asadi, in which they were criticizing the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, who, earlier, attacked the Central Government.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We will not respond to their statements because their opinions are worthless in the political process.”

“It would be better for the SLC to avoid allowing these two MPs express its political views,” he added.

“The SLC adopted the policy of monopolizing the authority and excluding as well as marginalizing the others,” he concluded.

On Thursday, MP Hussien al-Asadi, of the State of Law Coalition announced that “The President of Kurdistani Region, Masoud Barzani, became a wanted individual for the judicial authorities because he insists on hiding the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi.”
