Sari urges blocs to end statements before Summit

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hasan Alwan al-Sari, of the Citizen bloc called “All the political blocs to stop launching media statements before holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We call all sides to stop launching tense statements which suggest negative messages to the Arab Countries which will participate in the Summit,” noting that “Such statements encourage the terrorism to destabilize security situation.”

“Some political sides exploit the current conditions to pressurize government to gain individual demands,” he concluded.

Earlier, Barzani accused “The Central Government of attempting to involve the Kurds in Hashimi’s case by suggesting to facilitate his escape abroad through Kurdistan Region.”

Barzani also announced that the Kurdish State will be announced soon, calling the political leaders for an urgent meeting.

Recently, the relations between the State of Law Coalition and the Kurdistani Alliance witnessed some tensions as the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, said “We will not hand over VP Hashimi because he came to Kurdistan Region to meet with the President Talabani,” calling “to settle his case through the three Presidencies.”

For his part, Yasin Majeed, member of the State of Law Coalition criticized Barzani’s statements about his refusal to hand over the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi.
