Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohammed Taha, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated that the meetings of the Preparatory Committee of the National meeting are very slow and this indicates that the National meeting will be held after the Arab Summit.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The political leaders had to hold the meeting before the Summit in order to conduct a unified political dialogue for the Summit.”
For his part, MP, Sami al-Askari, of the State of Law Coalition assured “Holding the National meetings depends on the meetings of the Preparatory Committee.”
The Iraqiya Slate has called, several times, to hold the meeting before the Arab Summit which will be held at the end of March where the head of the IS, Ayad Allawi, insinuated that the Iraqi crises will be discussed in the Summit.
Earlier, the members of the Preparatory Committee stated that the meeting will be held after the Summit because the Committee needs more time to complete its agenda for the meeting.
