NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: Today is the first day of the Muslim Hegira calendar month of Dhi al-Hijja and accordingly Tuesday will be the first day of Eidul-Adha holiday, a source close to top Shiite cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani said on Sunday. “Tuesday, which will be the 8th of the Gregorian month of December, will be the first day of Eidul-Adha holiday,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
