2 Policemen killed in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Two policemen were killed due to an armed attack in southern Mosul.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday that ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting police checkpoint near Hamam al-Alil area of southern Mosul,” noting that “The armed attack resulted in killing two elements of the police checkpoint.”

The source added “Security forces rushed to the incident scene and transported the dead bodies of the policemen to the morgue.” \
