Ammo, explosives seized in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Security forces on Friday seized an amount of munitions and explosives in a search raid in southern al-Kut city, according to a source from Wassit police. “The operation took place at al-Noumaniya suburb, 40 km southern Kut, based on intelligence tips,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Thirty-nine mortar shells, 12 roadside bombs, four explosive devices and an amount of highly explosive TNT were seized during the operation,” he said.
