2 Iraqi soldiers killed in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Two Iraqi soldiers were killed and three others wounded in two separate incidents during the past 24 hours in the city of Mosul, an official security source in Ninewa said. “An Iraqi soldier was killed and another wounded when they were trying to defuse an improvised explosive device (IED) in the area of al-Arbajiya, northeastern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Another IED went off late on Friday night near an Iraqi army patrol in al-Siddiq neighborhood, northern Mosul, leaving one soldier killed and two other fellow patrolmen injured,” the source said.
