Officer injured eastern Ramadi

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) An officer at the Border Police Forces survived an assassination attempt with silenced guns in Fallujah city of eastern Ramadi the center of Anbar province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday “Unidentified gunmen, travelling by a motorbike, opened fire from silenced guns on the Major ranked officer, Mohammed Aiyed, who was driving his civilian vehicle in Andalus neighborhood of Fallujah city, injuring him seriously.”

“The gunmen managed to escape to unidentified location after conducting the attack while the security forces transported the Major to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
