Weakness of security bodies behind last blasts, says Bolani

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Interior Minister, Jawed al-Bolani, stated that ”The last security breaches which took place in Baghdad dose not show the affectiveness of terrorism but it shows the weakness of the security efforts.”

A statement issued by Bolani to IraqiNews.com cited that ”The last blasts which took place in Baghdad were not due to the crisis of withdrawing the trust from the Premier Nouri al-Maliki as some sides believe, but, it occurred due to the absences of the intelligence efforts and the laziness of the security bodies which are responsible of observing the security situation and all these factors gave the terrorist the opportunity to conduct a series of security breaches within few days.”

He explained that ”The armed attacks do not show the strength of the armed group as they represent the security efforts which require reconsiderating the security plans.”

A series of explosions took place in Baghdad and many other provinces by car bombs and IEDs which resulted in killing and wounding about (354) persons, half of them were of the Pilgrims of Imam Musa al-Kadhim, distributed on 30 blasts in nine provinces.
