2 Qaeda elements arrested, weapons cache discovered in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Security forces arrested two elements of Qaeda Organization and seized a weapons cache in eastern Mosul.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com in Wednesday that ”A force of the Iraqi Army arrested two elements of the terrorist Qaeda Organization according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law in the Left Coast of Mosul city the central of Nineveh province,” noting that “The arrest was based on judicial warrants.”

The source added “The force managed to discover a weapons cache which contained explosive vest, mortar shells, Katyusha rockets, (14) Improvised Explosive Devices, (7) Adhesive Explosive Devices and heavy machine-gun as well as various kinds of munitions.” \
