Urgent – Vehicles’ movment baned in Baquba

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The security forces of Baquba city banned the movement of the vehicles on the background of the suicide bombing which took place in Baquba city on Monday.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”The police forces banned vehicles’ movement on the background of the suicide bombing which hit the district earlier on Monday evening,” noting that “The movement ban is considered a precaution procedure to prevent any more attacks.”

Earlier, a suicide bomber detonated his explosive belt inside a mourning procession and resulted in killing and injuring more than (50) persons, according to initial count, among them are four security officers in Shefta village of central Baquba the central of Diyala province.

The Commander of the Ground Forces General, Ali Ghaidan, survived an assassination attempt during the suicide bombing while three of the Commander’s guards were injured due to the explosion. \
