Wassit morgue receives unidentified body

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The al-Zahraa Hospital morgue on Sunday received an unidentified body that was salvaged from a river north of the city of al-Kut, a morgue source said. “The body, which was taken out from a river north of the district of al-Suwayra, (135 km) north of Kut, was decomposed and showed signs of having been tortured,” the source told IraqiNews.com. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
