Federal Police lieutenant injured in Samara

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Lieutenant Police officer was injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device IED explosion in Samara district of southern Salah-il-Din province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Thursday “The explosion of the IED was targeting a Federal Police patrol ,” noting that “The explosion caused material damages to the vehicle of the patrol.”

The source added “The security force cordoned the explosion scene off and transported the injured officer to the hospital for treatment.” \
