Najaf province witnesses strict security measures

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The police forces imposed strict security measures in Najaf province on the background of the bombings that took place in Baghdad and the other provinces on Wednesday.

The head of media office within Najaf Police Dept, Muqdad al-Musawi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The police forces conducted wide security measures to protect the civilians in anticipation of possible attacks.”

Baghdad and other provinces witnessed several attacks with car bombs, Improvised Explosive Devices that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of civilians as well as pilgrims heading to visit the Holy shrine of Imam Musa Bin Jaafar al-Kadhum.
