Former Chairman of Basra PC survives assassination

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The former Chairman of Basra Provincial Council, Mohamed Sadoun, al-Ebadi, survived assassination attempt on Tuesday.

Ebadi stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting my house and managed to escape.”

“The gunmen were driving civilian vehicle,” he added, noting that “The attack did not result in casualties or material damages.”
