Iranian infiltrator arrested in Wassit

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: An Iranian infiltrator was arrested southeast of al-Kut city on Tuesday thanks to intelligence tips, a Wassit police source said. “Policemen captured an Iranian who illegally infiltrated into Iraqi territories in Sheikh Saad district, (55 km) southeast of Kut,” the source told IraqiNews.com. He did not give more information about the infiltrator. Kut, the capital city of Wassit province, lies 180 km southeast of Baghdad and 90 km away from the joint Iraqi-Iranian borders. AmR (P) 1
