Urgent – Maliki orders to reinvestigate Dulaimi case

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier Nouri al-Maliki ordered to reconduct the investigation in the case of the member of Baghdad Provincial Council from the Iraqiya Slate Laith al-Dulaimi who is accused of being affiliated to Qaeda Organization and leading a terrorist cell.

The official Iraqiya satellite channel quoted an official source from the Interior Ministry as saying “The Premier ordered to refer those who have previously investigated al-Dulaimi for investigation in case proving their dereliction.”

Earlier, a source from Baghdad PC has reported to IraqiNews.com on last Monday “A security force has arrested Laith Mustafa al-Dulaimi, the deputy chairman of the Education Committee in Baghdad PC, from Iraqiya Slate, according to Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.”

Baghdad PC confirmed this report and demanded Baghdad Operations Command to clarify the reasons behind this arrest.

The Commander of Baghdad Police Department, Major General Adel Daham, held a session to announce the confessions of the terrorist cell related to al-Dulaimi who shouted that “The charges against him are fabricated.”

The Ministry of Interior announced in statement of forming investigation committee to investigate in the allegations of al-Dulaimi. \
