Rashed al-Zedan dies due to injuries

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The Sheikh of Lahebat Tribe, Rashed al-Zedan died due to injuries he endured from explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device which targeted his vehicle in southern Mosul on Monday evening.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “The IED exploded targeting the vehicle of Rashed al-Zedan the Sheikh of al-Lahebat Tribe in Qayarah area of southern Mosul.”

The source added “The Sheikh’s body has been transported to the morgue while the security forces launched inspection campaign to arrest the criminals behind the explosion.”

The Sheikh of al-Lahebat Tribe, Rashed al-Zedan, is the uncle of MP, Falah al-Zedan, of the Iraqiya Slate. \
