Employees killed, injured in western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity announced that “An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting a team of its employees in western Baghdad on Saturday.”

A statement by the Ministry received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “A team involves employees from the Ministry was conducting an inspection for the electricity line pf Bieji-western Baghdad No. 2 while an IED exploded killing two and injuring two others form the teams.”

“The injured employees were transferred to the hospital for treatment,” the statement concluded.
