Bomb wounds child, mother, army seizes TNT in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A child and his mother were wounded in a bomb blast in northern Mosul, while Iraqi army forces found a weapons cache in west of Mosul, security sources said on Friday. “An Iraqi army force found a stockpile of weapons and ammunitions during a security raid in al-Rayhaniya village in Hamidiya district in west of Mosul,” an army source told IraqiNews.com. “The depot contains amount of TNT and a number of bombs,” he added. Meanwhile, a police source said that a roadside bomb exploded on Thursday night in al-Masaref neighborhood in northern Mosul, injuring a child and his mother as well as causing material damage to a nearby vehicle. Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, is located 405km north of Baghdad. SH (P) 1
