Basra IC grants investment license to Basra Times Square project

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Basra Investment Commission granted investment license for an Investment Company to establish tourist project in central Basra at a cost of $ 162 million. The Chairman of Basra IC Khalaf al-Badran said “The license of (Basra Times Square) project was granted to Dier Company for Contracts by the Administration Council of the Commission,” pointing out that “This project will achieve great benefit and will be a remarkable milestone in the province.” “The period of investing this project will be 35 years,” he added, noting that “The project will be constructed on land surface of (31,000) sq meters to serve the diversity of utilities erected on this land.” Badran called the implementing Company to “follow the latest global standards and specifications in implementing this project.”
