MoE puts cornerstone for Dibis power station in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A statement by the Ministry of Electricity said that “The Dibis Electric Power Station, which has witnessed laying its cornerstone in Kirkuk province on last Wednesday, will work with a capacity of 320 MW.” Karim Aftan, the Minister of electricity, has put the cornerstone for Dibis power station in Kirkuk province, on Wednesday, with attendance of the Chairman of Kirkuk Provincial Council Toran Baha-il-Din, Kirkuk Governor Arkan Sayd and the Director of the Iranian implementing company of the project. The Spokesperson of the Ministry, Musab al-Mudaris said “The Iranian Sanayer Company will implement the project of erecting the new station with a cost of $ 72 million and an execution duration of 14 months and 15 days.”
