BIC publishes handbook over investment opportunities in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The Investment Commission of Basra province issued a handbook in both Arabic and Kurdish language contains advertisment for 111 investment opportunity in Basra province.

The Head of the Investment Commission, Khalf al-Badran, declared in press conference that “The handbook is considered as an investment guide that include a map explains all the available investment opportunity in various fields.”

He added that “The handbook included an important information related to the areas of Basra province and the attractive investment opportunity as well as the guarantees and advantages which are provided by the Iraqi investment law no.13 of 2006.”

He concluded that “27 opportunities are related to housing sector, 7 to agricultural sector, 46 to the industrial sector, 20 to tourism sector, 5 to health sector, 2 to education sector and four to transportation sector.”
