MoE urge UAE companies to invest in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Minister of electricity Karim Aftan al-Jumaili stressed the importance of utilizing and transferring the UAE technology and efficiency to take role in Iraq.


The spokesman of the Ministry of Electricity Musab al-Mudaris noted that “The minister stressed during his meeting with the UAE ambassador in Iraq Abdullah Ibrahim al-Shihy that the civil and technological developments which have happened and still happen in the UAE prove its officials’ insistence to offer the best standard of living and prosperity for their citizens, that we must make use of this great experience.”


Al-Shihy said “Our role as an embassy in Iraq since 2008, is to offer the political support to long last fraternity among the Arab countries and urge the Arab officials to communicate with Iraq,” stressing that “We also gave crucial importance to the investments in Iraq and the  promotion of electricity , water and the rebuilding energy sector.”


At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Shihy wished the Minister of Electricity and his employees great success in managing the ministry and achieving developments in Iraq, according to Mudaris.
