Gunfire wound civilian in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was wounded when he came under gunmen’s fire in southern Kut, a source from Wassit province’s police said on Wednesday. “The attack took place in front of the victim’s house,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Police forces cordoned of the area, in an attempt to arrest the gunmen who were able to escape,” he said.
