IOC delegation arrives in Doha to support Iraqi National Team

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation from the Iraqi Olympic Committee arrived in Doha to support the Iraqi National Team in his match against its Omani counterpart which will be held at the Grand Hamad Stadium on Tuesday within the course of the final qualifiers for the World Cup in Brazil.

The head of the Iraqi Football Association, Najih Hmoud, stated to IraqiNews.com “The delegation which involved senior officials from the IOC met the players and encouraged them to do their best to make the Iraqis happy,” assuring that “A number of journalists and representatives of Iraqi media outlets arrived in Doha too to cover the events of the important match.”

The Iraqi team will face its Omani counterpart at six o’clock at the Grand Hamad Stadium in the Arabi Qatari club in its second match within the qualifiers for the World Cup in Brazil.

The Coach of the Iraqi National Team, Zico, promised to have “A wonderful match with Oman through professional performance.”
